So how do you make those less-exciting parts of obedience genuinely enjoyable for your dog?
By effectively using a Reward Marker!
A Reward Marker is a sound or a word that directly connects your dog's favorite reward with the skill he is performing. It requires you to pay close attention and perfect your timing.
A student recently asked me, “Does everyone have as much trouble doing this correctly as I do?” The answer is “YES!” Mastering the use of a Reward Marker is difficult, but the results are worth the effort!
