Keeping Commands & Cues Clear: Sitting in Heel Position

When your dog is sitting in heel position, there are five different exercises that could be next. 

You might tell him to Heel, Stay, Lie Down, Stand Up, or Go-out. 

Dogs are situational, and factors such as your position in the ring or the placement of your hands help your dog understand what exercise is next. However, if you have ever had a dog follow you when you told him to stay, or fail to move when you told him to stand up, you understand how frustrating unclear communication can be.
